Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the services provided by 3E Technology, Inc. (“3E Technology,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms. You must be at least 18 years of age to use the service.

2. Description of Service

3E Technology provides a searchable database of parts vendors — spanning electronic, industrial, mechanical, and hard-to-find components. Free users see match counts and general location hints. Paid users (via subscription or search credits) see full vendor contact details. All data access is for the sole purpose of contacting vendors about purchase inquiries.

3E Technology also provides a vendor portal where suppliers and manufacturers can register and list their parts and brands to be included in the database.

3. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless 3E Technology, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your misuse of any data obtained through the service.

4. Accounts & Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information during signup
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• One account per person
• You must complete email verification to activate your account
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

5. Permitted Use

Data accessed through 3E Technology is licensed for internal business or personal use only, limited to contacting vendors for purchase inquiries. The following are expressly prohibited:

• Reselling, redistributing, or republishing any data obtained from the service
• Bulk downloading, scraping, or systematic extraction of data
• Building or contributing to competing databases or services
• Using data for any purpose other than contacting vendors about purchase inquiries
• Sharing account credentials or allowing third-party access to your account
• Circumventing rate limits, access controls, or other technical measures

6. Payment & Refunds

• Search credits and subscriptions are non-refundable
• No partial refunds for unused credits or remaining subscription time
• Subscriptions renew automatically; you may cancel anytime via the Stripe customer portal
• Cancellation takes effect at end of current billing period — no refund for remaining time
• Prices are subject to change; existing subscribers will be notified before changes take effect

7. Termination

• 3E Technology may terminate or suspend any account at any time, for any reason, without prior notice
• Users may cancel their account at any time
• No refund is issued upon termination, whether initiated by 3E Technology or the user
• Upon termination, the user’s license to access data is immediately revoked

8. Data Accuracy Disclaimer

All vendor information, part numbers, brand associations, and contact details are provided “as-is” without warranty of any kind. 3E Technology makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any data in the database. Data may originate from legacy records, vendor submissions, or third-party sources and may be outdated or incorrect. Users are responsible for independently verifying any information before relying on it.

9. Limitation of Liability

• 3E Technology is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service
• Not liable for losses resulting from reliance on data accuracy
• Not liable for vendor conduct, product quality, or transaction outcomes
• Total aggregate liability is limited to the amount paid by the user in the 12 months preceding the claim
• The service is provided “as-is” and “as-available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied

10. Intellectual Property

The database contents, compilation, site design, branding, and all associated materials are the property of 3E Technology, Inc. Users receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use data solely per the Permitted Use section above. No ownership rights are transferred through use of the service.

11. Changes to Terms

3E Technology reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. The revised terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or the service shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in the State of New York.
